Hi, I’m Ujunwa, and welcome to my little corner Uju’s Haven.
Growing up, I was that child the one who couldn’t sit still until the house looked “just right.”
If a chair was slightly off or a pillow felt out of place, I would fix it without even thinking. Sometimes I would arrange the whole house in the morning, go out, come back, and rearrange it all over again because “the vibe wasn’t vibing.”
My mom and siblings always knew when I had returned home
All they had to do was look around and smile:
“Ah, Ujunwa is back. The house has changed again.”
But my love for creating beautiful spaces wasn’t the only thing that shaped me. I’ve always been that person who takes food seriously good, flavorful, comforting food. My friends would often ask:
“Ujunwa, what are you cooking today?”
because they knew something delicious was always happening in my kitchen.
Over the years, these two passions making homes feel warm and making meals feel memorable have grown deeply in me.
They’ve carried me through different stages of life, especially motherhood, and they’ve inspired me to create this blog.
